SOLVED description - links show code on front end was created by arthur
Hi
Sorry one more problem - when I add a simple text link on the form description page:
1. It shows html code everywhere (see screen shot). If I remove the link it looks fine again.
2. For some reason if I type more than about 34 words in the description it gets cut off.
I am using Joomla 2.5.9 and the editor is the latest JCE.
Many thanks for any help you can give.

Hi Caro
I'm not sure if you found the problem?
I just did another test, and if my make a text link in the description to a MENU ITEM it seems to work fine.
If I try make the link's TARGET to Open in New Window or if I make the link to CONTENT then the code is displayed on the front end.
Not sure if that helps?

Hello Arthur,
the problem is that the Database-field is too small.
See the pictures as a Workaround to fix the Problem
Please use your Database Manager eg phpMyAdmin
1. go to the Table efforms,
2. select the structure of the table,
3. set the Typ of the field 'beschreibung' from varchar(255) to TEXT or. MEDIUMTEXT
This will fix your Problem.
We will correct this bug in the next version of eXtroforms lite.
I hope my answer was helpful.
